Evodiline is a naturally occurring indole alkaloid and the main biologically active component of the traditional Chinese medicine Evodiline. It has pharmacological activities such as hypertension-raising effects, antitumor, cardioprotective, weight loss, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and anti-Alzheimer's. As a new natural anticancer agent, Wu Ju-erucine can inhibit the proliferation of many tumor cells, including those of cervical cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, T-lymphocytic leukemia, prostate cancer, and breast cancer. It also has other biological activities such as thermoregulation, antihypoxia, dermatological applications, bronchoconstriction, and hormone secretion regulation. 1. Anti-tumor activity
Corydaline can inhibit the proliferation of a variety of tumor cells, including the inhibition of proliferation of cervical cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, T-lymphocyte-like leukemia, prostate cancer and breast cancer.
