Dihydrooat alkaloids are derived from the active ingredients of Avena Sativa, also known as dihydrooat acyl ortho aminobenzoic acid, hydroxyphenylpropionamide benzoic acid, or oat anthracene amide. It is a unique antioxidant substance of oats, with the highest content in the aleurone layer. Adding it to bath products can effectively relieve itching.

Supplementing with dihydrooat alkaloids can increase the activity of superoxide dismutase in thigh muscles, liver, and kidneys, as well as the activity of glutathione peroxidase in thigh muscles and heart. Exercise can increase oxidative stress in muscles and myocardium, leading to an increase in reactive oxygen species and accelerating heart, liver, and muscle peroxidation. Through experiments, it has been found that dihydrooat alkaloids can alleviate the production of reactive oxygen species in muscles caused by exercise, and can also reduce fat peroxidation in the heart.
