Product Description

Red crystal or crystalline powder. Melting point is no less than 220ºC(decomposition). It is slightly soluble in water and ethanol, but insoluble in ether and chloroform.

Its sodium salicylate is red powder with melting point of 196-197.5 ("decomposition"),

solubility of 0.61 mg/ml in water at 25 ("decomposition"), insoluble in ether and chloroform, and pH value of 10% aqueous solution is 6.7-7.3.
