1. Alpha glycerylphosphorylcholine (alpha-GPC, choline alfoscerate, Glycerol Phosphatidyl Choline) is a naturalcholine compound found in the brain and in milk. It is also a parasympathomimeticacetylcholine precursor which may have potential for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Alpha-GPC is also used as a nootropic dietary supplement to enhance memory and cognition.

It is a hydrolyzed product of phosphatidylcholine, the two fatty acyl groups of lecithin molecules. It is a water-soluble phospholipid precursor and neurotransmitter that naturally exists in the human body. It is also a unique cell protective agent that can support the fluidity and integrity of cell membranes. Years of experimental research and clinical application have shown that GPC can not only improve people's memory and cognitive ability, but also have significant effect on brain circulation decline and Alzheimer's disease, so it is called the anti-aging nutrient of brain.
