Medium chain triglycerides, English full name medium chain triglycerides, referred to as (MCT). Naturally present in palm kernel oil, coconut oil and other foods and breast milk, it is one of the sources of dietary fat. Medium-chain triglycerides are derived from coconut oil or from palm oil. They are a mixture of saturated triglycerides, mainly caprylic acid (C8H16O2) and caprylic acid (C10H20O2). Their content is not less than 95%.
